Upcoming Enhancements for a Faster Anomali Experience

As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance performance and reliability, Anomali introduces two upcoming upgrades:

  • Content Delivery Network (CDN) that brings Anomali services closer to your location for faster access.

  • HTTP 2 Support that enables multiplexing, by allowing a large number of concurrent requests to be sent over a single connection.

Together, these enhancements will deliver faster page loads, lower latency, and a smoother, more reliable user experience.

The rollout begins with customers on the U.S.-based Anomali Platform and will expand to all other zones shortly, ensuring a consistent experience for every customer worldwide.

While your day-to-day interaction and operations with the Anomali platform will remain the same, your firewall configuration may require a quick update.

To determine whether your firewall configuration needs to be updated, complete a quick connectivity test and report your results to Anomali via the pop-up message provided in the platform.

To test connection:

  1. When you see the following pop-up notification on your screen, click Test your connection.

Alternatively, enter the following URL in your browser:

    https://ui-h2.threatstream.com/xdr/gf/test

  2. Confirm your test result. If you see the following message in your browser:

    • Connection test successful. You are good to use the future version of Anomali UI.

Go back to the browser tab where the pop-up window is and click Test Was Successful. The following pop-up message appears:

      No further action is required.

    • Connection test failed. You are not ready to use the future version of Anomali UI.

Go back to the browser tab where the pop-up window is and click Test Failed. The following pop-up message appears:

In this case, your organization's Anomali administrator needs to work with your Anomali Customer Success representative to whitelist the *.threatstream.com domain in your firewall configuration.

Your Anomali platform will be transitioned to a new version after the Anomali Customer Success representative confirms that everything is ready for the changeover.
